As one of the oldest contenders at the upcoming
Bank of Utah Championship, Alex Noren will be hoping to roll back the years at the Black Desert Golf Course.
The PGA Utah Championship, formerly known as the Black Desert Championship, will host many of Golf’s best talents later this week.
However, Noren, who comes in at the age of 43, will have much to prove after his T27 placing at the Baycurrent Classic earlier this month.
What to know about Alex Noren
Noren is a 12-time winner on the European Tour, where he claimed titles in the BMW PGA Championship, the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open, the British Masters, HNA Open de France and the
Nedbank Golf Challenge amongst others.
The Swede also played a major role in Team Europe’s win at the 2018 Ryder Cup, while he also claimed two wins on the Asian Tour, including a single win on the Challenge Tour.
What did he say
Speaking at the Baycurrent Classic a few weeks back, Noren mentioned that he keeps his game simple by sticking to his original plans.
“You don't have to hit every shot good, you just have to stick with it, stick with your practice, your routines and the good play will come,” Noren expressed.
“If you start kind of like going more through your motions, emotions and not stick to your game plan, then it's tricky.”
